Quick amount is fastest when you already know the total. Catalog checkout is better when SKUs, variants, or live inventory matter.

When to use catalog checkout

  • Boutique / beauty / electronics with many SKUs.
  • Live selling where the last unit must not double-sell.
  • Staff should not invent prices.
  • You want item-level history later.

Steps

  1. Add products (Quick add or full add) until the Dashboard grid is populated.
  2. Open the Dashboard tab.
  3. Search or use category chips to find items.
  4. Tap to add to cart; adjust quantities on the checkout bar.
  5. Tap Checkout — you continue with the cart total (no free-typed keypad).
  6. Choose Cash or Direct; handle Discount? if it appears.
  7. Finish Sale complete and optionally share a receipt.
Still use Calculator when a customer buys a mixed “deal” priced in your head.
