How to Set Up a Join2Save Discount on the Cartpo App

Create a Join2save discount on a Cartpo product: discount %, required buyers, Share Captain benefits, and duration — plus how it works with iHolda.

Join2Save lets shoppers group-buy for a better price. On Cartpo you configure the merchant-side discount on a product. Shoppers form squads and pay on iHolda — then can present a QR at your counter.

Before you start

  • Shop Settings completed and currency set.
  • Product already in your menu/catalogue (paid plan if Standard blocks adding items).
  • You understand the % and captain perk you can afford.

Steps in the Cartpo app

  1. Open the drawer → Edit items (Menu / Catalogue).
  2. Find the product → open its actions → Add Discount (or Edit Discount).
  3. Choose Discount type: Join2save discount (not Product discount or Live stream discount).
  4. Select the discount percentage.
  5. Set Required number of buyers: 1 person, 2, 5, 10, or 20 people.
  6. Set Share Captain benefits — for example captain gets the item Free, 50%-OFF, 25%/15%/10% OFF, or All customers get same discount.
  7. Set Discount valid duration: 24 hours, 48 hours, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, or Valid until cancelled.
  8. Save.

What customers do next (iHolda)

Eligible shoppers join or start a Join2Save group on iHolda until the buyer threshold is met, then complete payment there. Your job in Cartpo was pricing the offer correctly.

Honoring the discount at the counter

  1. Start the sale on Calculator or catalog checkout.
  2. When Discount? appears, scan the customer’s iHolda QR (or Skip if not applicable).
  3. Confirm the applied total on the discount summary screen.
  4. Finish Cash or Direct as usual.

Other discount types (do not confuse)

  • Product discount — simple % off that product.
  • Live stream discount — for live selling contexts.
  • Store-wide Discounts (drawer) — New customer / Loyal customer rules for the whole shop.
