How to Scan a Customer QR Code for a Discount at Checkout
When Cartpo shows Discount?, scan the customer’s iHolda QR to apply a group or loyalty-style discount — or skip for a normal sale.

- 2. Open Discount?If your shop has discounts, Cartpo opens the scan screen before Cash/Direct completion.
- 3. Scan or SkipScan the customer’s iHolda QR to verify and apply the discount, or tap Skip.
- 4. Confirm total and finishReview the applied total, then complete Cash or Direct as usual.

You do not create the customer’s QR in Cartpo. You scan their iHolda QR when a discount should apply — often after a Join2Save or other iHolda group offer.
When the scan screen appears
If settings include one or more discounts, both Cash and Direct paths can route through Discount? with the subtitle “Scan customer's QR code to verify and apply discount.”
Steps
- Enter the sale (Calculator or catalog).
- Choose Cash or Direct and continue.
- On Discount?, point the camera at the customer’s iHolda QR.
- Confirm the discounted total (copy may reference iHolda group discount).
- Finish payment and optionally share a receipt.
- If the customer has no discount, tap Skip.
